Our Workshops

Every workshop is hands-on, tailored to your group, and taught on professional studio equipment. Choose the track that fits you.

A forward-thinking program that sparks creativity, builds confidence and teaches students the latest audio and video technology. Delivered as a one-day intensive or weekly across a term, it develops planning, research, teamwork and communication while students create something they are proud of.

Give your team the groundwork and confidence to launch a video podcast in house. We cover content planning, on-camera presence, recording technique and how to grow an audience, so your brand can own the conversation in its category.

Practical, career-ready training in podcast production, editing and media skills, taught on the same professional equipment used by working studios. Ideal for communication, media and journalism cohorts who need real production experience.

For aspiring podcasters ready to start their own show. Get hands-on with the gear, the workflow and the skills to launch with confidence, from your first idea to a finished, published episode. Find your nearest program at podwaveacademy.au.

Yes. Our school programs are a popular, forward-thinking option that builds creativity, confidence and technical skills. They can run as a one-day intensive or weekly across a term, and develop planning, research and teamwork alongside audio and video production.

Both options are available. For a single-day workshop we recommend coming into Podwave Studios for the full hands-on experience. For multi-day programs we can deliver the practical modules on site at your school or office and host one day in the studio so everyone gets time on professional equipment.

No prior experience is required. Workshops cater to all skill levels, from complete beginners through to those with some podcasting experience, with practical guidance throughout.

Formats are flexible and tailored to each group, ranging from a short introductory half-day session through to weekly hour-long lessons across a school term. We will find a format that fits your schedule and learning objectives.

Participants train on the same professional gear used in our studios, including Shure SM7B microphones, Sony 4K cameras and broadcast lighting. Learning on real equipment is central to how Podwave Academy teaches.

Workshops run at our West Leederville studio, or on site at your school or office for the practical modules. The West Leederville studio is a fully equipped video podcast space in Perth, Western Australia.

Workshops are tailored to each group, so pricing depends on the format, length and number of participants. Contact the Academy for a quote at podwaveacademy.au or on 0466 422 972.
