Yes. Post-production is a core part of what Podwave Studios provides, as an optional add on. After your session, the team can handle the video editing, audio mastering, and formatting your content for distribution.
Depending on your package, deliverables can include a finished podcast episode, a YouTube ready video, various short form clips for social media, transcripts, shownotes and thumbnails. The goal is to hand you a finished product, not raw footage.
Podwave Studios offers session based packages across a range of durations and production scopes. The studio is $285 an hour and a producer is $150 an hour.

No. Podwave Studios provides everything you need for a professional recording session. Shure SM7B, Sony 4K cameras, lighting, acoustic treatment, and monitoring equipment are all set up before you arrive.
You do not need to own any recording gear to produce a broadcast quality show at Podwave Studios. The only thing you need to bring is your content.
Session lengths vary depending on the format of your show and how much content you want to record in a single sitting. A standard episode recording typically runs between one and two hours. Clients who want to batch record multiple episodes in a day can book extended sessions accordingly.
Setup is handled before you arrive, so your booked time is recording time. If you are unsure how long you need, the team can help you plan based on your episode format and goals.
Podwave Studios works with a broad range of clients, from individual thought leaders and content creators to corporate teams, professional services firms, and established businesses across Perth.
Common clients include executives and founders building personal brands, marketing teams producing branded content, businesses launching internal communications podcasts, and health, legal, finance, and property professionals who want a consistent content presence in their industry.
The studios are built for people who want professional results without having to manage the technical side themselves. If you have something worth saying to an audience, Podwave Studios provides the environment and the team to make it happen.
The most useful thing you can do before your session is get clear on what you want to say and who you are saying it to. You do not need a word for word script, but having a rough outline of your topic, key points, and any guest questions will make the session run more smoothly. Podwave Studios have templates available so contact the team for more information.
Beyond that, not much is required. The studio is set up before you arrive and the producer will brief you when you get there. If you have questions ahead of your first session, the team is happy to run through the process with you in advance.
Studio tours are available at both West Leederville and West Perth if you want to see the space and meet the team before your first booking.
Audio podcast production focuses on capturing and editing a high-quality sound recording for distribution on platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Video podcast production adds multi camera capture, lighting, and visual editing so the show can also be published on YouTube and Spotify shared as video content across social media.
Podwave Studios is built for video first production. Every session includes 4K camera work as standard, so clients walk out with both an audio and video ready product from the same recording. Given that YouTube is now the most used podcast platform in Australia, video production is worth building into your show from day one rather than adding it later.
Our studio is equipped with high-quality microphones, recording devices, monitor headphones, video cameras, switchers and other necessary equipment needed to produce high-quality video and audio podcasts.
